SHOT Show 2016: Merkel R15

The Merkel R15 is an all-new bolt action rifle designed for the American hunter.

The R15 comes with a 22" barrel (24€³ in magnum calibers), a 14.5" length of pull, is drilled & tapped for your favorite scope rings and has a trigger pull of 2.65 pounds. A 3 round detachable magazine will be offered on standard calibers and magnum calibers will come with a 2 round.

This all-new Merkel rifle is also available in either a walnut or synthetic stock.


The R15 in synthetic weighs in at 6.6 pounds and the walnut stock rifle is 7.3 pounds. Both versions are available in eight different calibers including: .243, 6.5x55, .270, .308, .30-06, .300 Win. Mag., and 7mm Rem. Mag. The Merkel R15 is shipping now and has a price point of $699-799.


The Merkel R15 was one of the most economical German rifles at SHOT Show 2016.
